Beamish Museum Steam Event
19/04/2010
What a great weekend, we where fully booked all our guests where visiting Beamish Museum some knew that the steam event was on others did not.
Angus Isabel and I popped out for a couple of hours on the Saturday (the advantage of it just been on the door step) and it was so good we went back on the Sunday. We bumped into our guests, friends and family all doing the same enjoying the great weather and great event.
It has to be said Beamish is worth a visit anytime of year but events like this just make it more special and so handy just been 7 minutes from the Riding Farm.
On the weekends they will be running the steam train, which I have to say I have never been on well worth special with an ice cream.
