A different sort of cockerel!

We always try to have something different at the Riding Farm and we have it this year with our resident Curlew one of many at the farm but the only one to perch on top of the pole in the yard and call.
At first we thought it must be someone or something disturbing a nest nearby but he or she comes every night and tells us what they think in curlew! That or it thinks its a cockerel but it only comes at night? I guess everyone is different and curlews are no different.
