A Day Out at Gibside

We are very lucky at Riding Farm to be so close to so many fantastic attractions hertitage sites and National Trust properties. Gibside is only 10 minutes away with lovely walks nice tea shop and good facilities for children.
So with all chores for the day done off we went - can't believe how much is going on since the last visit..
We enjoyed a nice lunch and a cuppa then off walking - so we could have cake!
We went and had a look round the chapel - but the big excitement was we saw a Red Kite watched it for ages flying over the sheep and lambs in the fields surrounding Gibside.
