Spring is here at The Riding the pond is a hive of activity tadpoles galore and nesting mallards and we have 6 goslings been looked after by a very proud mother goose get too close and she lets you know! She does not seem to be bothered by the 4 coots that follow her about she wont bring the goslings for her bread yet but I am sure she will in time.
We have also had the cattle turned out lots of cows and calves very happy to be outside after a winter inside. We had lots of running about and bucking but we are all settled down now.
The swallows have landed as well greating guests by swooping over them
